Robert E. Young (Bob Young) graduated from Kennett High
School in Kennett, Missouri. He holds a Bachelors degree and a Juris
Doctor degree from the University of Missouri, where he was an associate editor
of the Missouri Law Review. Mr. Young is married and has three children
and two grand-daughters. He is also a Vietnam veteran, serving with the
89th MP Brigade.
Mr. Young is a past President of the Greene County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, a former board member of Mission Outreach, and Vice-President of the Greene County Volunteer Resource Council.
Mr. Young is licensed to practice law by the States of Arkansas and Missouri. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. He is the President of the Greene County Bar Association. He has also attended and completed the Basic Course in Trial Advocacy conducted by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Young is a licensed abstractor and is the owner of Greene County Abstract and Title Company. He was selected in 1996 as "The Best Lawyer in Paragould" by the readers of the Paragould Daily Press.
Robert P. Young (Robbie Young) graduated from Ridgecrest
High School in Paragould, Arkansas. He attended Centre College, a small
liberal arts college in Danville, Kentucky from 1992 to 1994, and then attended
the University of Central Arkansas from 1994 to 1996 where he graduated with his
bachelors degree. Mr. Young attended the University of Arkansas at Little
Rock School of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1999. Mr. Young
has over ten years experience working in an abstract company, is a licensed
abstractor, and law clerked
for two years at a large firm in Little Rock specializing in Bankruptcy and Real
Estate Foreclosures.
Mr. Young is licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Young is also a member of the Arkansas Volunteer Lawyers for the Elderly (AVLE). He is a member of Kiwanis Club, and he is a Leadership Class IV participant. Mr. Young is active with the Boy Scouts of America. He assists the local Paragould Law Explorer Post, serves on the board of directors for the Northeast Arkansas Boy Scout District, and serves on the Boy Scout Golf Committee fundraising board. Mr. Young is also a certified Ropes Course instructor, and helps facilitate the Black River Technical Institute/Greene County Training Center's Ropes Couse.
