GREENE COUNTY ABSTRACT AND TITLE COMPANY

    Greene County Abstract and Title Company was founded in the early 1900's and was purchased by L. V. Rhine in 1928.  The current owner is Robert E. Young.

    Greene County Abstract and Title Company has photocopies and/or abstracted copies of all deeds and mortgages recorded in Greene County back to the earliest public records.  These records are further indexed into tract book indices, as well as scanned and indexed into a digital database on a network server.

    Greene County Abstract and Title Company has a licensed title plant and is licensed by the State of Arkansas.  It has three licensed abstractors on staff:  Robert E. Young (owner), Sandra Lentz (office manager), and Wanda Roush.  Mr. Young is a licensed attorney as well as abstractor.  He has been associated with the company since 1976.  Sandra Lentz has been with the company forever (well, since 1966).  She knows whose been naughty or nice (at least as far as good and merchantable title).  Her knowledge and expertise is relied upon not only "in-house" but by many other real estate professionals in town and adjoining counties.  Wanda Roush is also a licensed abstractor.  She has been with the company since 1996, and is very, very good.

    Greene County Abstract and Title Company also has several abstractor assistants, including  Amanda Meridith and Pamela Aubuchon.  Amanda and Pamela have come onboard relatively recently, but are doing excellent work in the areas they are being trained in.

    Greene County Abstract and Title Company does a significant amount of title work for local lenders, including:  First National Bank, Union Planters Bank, American State Bank, People's Bank of Paragould, Bank of Paragould, and Regions Bank.  And also several area mortgage lenders, including The Mortgage Source.  Many attorneys, local and regional, rely upon Greene County Abstract and Title Company when they, or their clients, need a title search.
